Agreement To Terms
By participating in the Contest, the Contestant (You
) agree to be bound by the terms herein.
Contest Period
The Contest is run by Meowsbox (the Company) online from October 23, 2019 to November 29, 2019.
The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should computer attack, virus, bug, unauthorized intervention, fraud, force majeure, act of God, or other cause beyond the Company's control prevent the the proper administration, compromise security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest.
Eligibility
The Contest is void and not offered in jurisdictions where the Company or the Contestant is required to, but not limited to, additional administrative process(s), registration, prize trustee or equivalent bond, or other requirements. Persons in the the aforementioned jurisdictions must not participate in the Contest.
The Contest is void and not offered in jurisdictions where the Company or the Contest must be made available and communicated in a different language.
The Contest is open to all persons of the age of majority
or their local equivalent. Persons where this contest is prohibited or otherwise restricted or where their participation is otherwise prohibited or otherwise restricted are ineligible.
Employees of the Company and their immediate families are ineligible.
How To Enter
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING.
VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
A contestant may enter by fully completing and submitting the online contest entry form.
A contestant must complete the skill testing question without assistance.
A contestant may not request to alter a contest entry form submission once submitted.
A contestant may only submit one entry.
Automated, duplicate or fraudulent entries, or misrepresentation may result in rejection or disqualification of entry and or the Contestant.
How Winners Are Determined
On the Friday of each week during the month of November, a random entry will be selected and removed from the pool of eligible entries received.
The odds of entry selection depend on the number of eligible entries received
Selected entries are subject to verification.
The Contestant must have successfully completed the skill testing question in their entry.
Incomplete or fraudulent entries may be discarded or result in the disqualification of the associated Contestant.
Winners will be notified using the email in the selected and verified Contest entry.
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to choose an alternate contest entry in the event the chosen entry or contestant is disqualified, withdraws or refuses to participate, or is otherwise deemed ineligible.
A list of winners may be obtained by contacting the Company within one year of the end of the Contest period.
All decisions by the Company are final.
Prizes
ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED AS IS
AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE), AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.
All costs and expenses and taxes related to prize acceptance and use are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The approximate retail value of each prize is $1.99 USD. The total approximate retail value of prizes available depends on the number of eligible selected entries during the Contest period.
The prize will be delivered to the winning Contestant(s) as a license unlock code to the email in the winning entry submission.
Winning Contestant(s) may not request for refund a prior purchase as a substitution for the awarded prize.
Rights Granted by You
By participating in the Contest, the Contestant understands and agrees that the Company, anyone acting on behalf of the Company or assigned, shall have the right, to the extent permitted by law, to retain, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute and use in media, in worldwide perpetuity without limitation, the Contestant's entry, metadata, name, and comments, without further compensation, notice, review or consent.
The contestant agrees to permit the Company, anyone acting on behalf of the Company or assigned, to collect reasonable information and metadata to facilitate and properly administer the Contest. Data collected may include, but not necessarily be limited to, the IP address used at the time of entry submission, cookies or other identifiers assigned or present while accessing the Company and Contest online content.
Disputes And Claims
This Contest is governed by the laws of Canada and the province of British Columbia.
The Contestant agrees to resolve any dispute or claim in good faith by first contacting the Company.
The Contestant agrees to waive any and all claims, present or in future, against the Company, its employees, and associates, from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury, including death, or that of the Contestant's next of kin may suffer, as a result of the Contestant's participation in the Contest, due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care.
